The Faculty of Law was established in 2003. The constitution, Power and Composition of the Faculty of Law is available in the Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa Act, 2003 (Haryana Act No. 9 of 2003) published in Haryana Govt. Gazette (Extraordinary), April, 2003.

Faculty has separate independent building namely Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan (Teaching Block No. 3) with air-conditioned moot court, air-conditioned rich library along with digital library, air-conditioned legal aid clinic, air-conditioned seminar hall, common room for boys and girls separately,
smart class room and ramp facility for the handicapped students.The Faculty offers two bachelor programmes in the field of Law, one after graduation i.e. LL.B (Three year) Professional programme and another after (10+2) level i.e. B.A.LL.B (Five year) Integrated programme. These programmes incorporate fascinating subject with excellent career opportunities in the fields of law, corporate and consulting firms. Beside these programme, the faculty also offers LL.M (Two year) degree programme under CBCS and Ph.D programme in the emerging areas of the law requiring innovative studies.
विधि संकाय की स्थापना 2003 में हुई थी। विधि संकाय का संविधान, शक्ति और संरचना हरियाणा सरकार में प्रकाशित चौधरी देवी लाल विश्वविद्यालय, सिरसा अधिनियम, 2003 (हरियाणा अधिनियम संख्या 9, 2003) में उपलब्ध है।
राजपत्र (असाधारण), अप्रैल, 2003। संकाय के पास अलग स्वतंत्र भवन है जिसका नाम डॉ. अंबेडकर भवन (शिक्षण ब्लॉक नंबर 3) है जिसमें वातानुकूलित मूट कोर्ट, डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी के साथ वातानुकूलित समृद्ध पुस्तकालय, वातानुकूलित कानूनी सहायता क्लिनिक है।
वातानुकूलित सेमिनार हॉल, लड़कों और लड़कियों के लिए अलग-अलग कॉमन रूम, स्मार्ट क्लास रूम और विकलांग छात्रों के लिए रैंप की सुविधा। संकाय कानून के क्षेत्र में दो स्नातक कार्यक्रम प्रदान करता है, एक स्नातक के बाद यानी एलएलबी (तीन वर्षीय) व्यावसायिक कार्यक्रम और दूसरा (10+2) स्तर के बाद यानी B.A.LL.B (पांच वर्षीय) एकीकृत कार्यक्रम। इन कार्यक्रमों में कानून, कॉर्पोरेट और परामर्श फर्मों के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कैरियर के अवसरों के साथ आकर्षक विषय शामिल हैं। इन कार्यक्रमों के अलावा, संकाय नवीन अध्ययन की आवश्यकता वाले कानून के उभरते क्षेत्रों में सीबीसीएस और पीएचडी कार्यक्रम के तहत एलएलएम (दो वर्षीय) डिग्री कार्यक्रम भी प्रदान करता है।
अपनी स्थापना के समय से ही, संकाय के गतिशील शिक्षक कानूनी पेशे की लगातार बदलती मांगों को पूरा करने के लिए नए पाठ्यक्रम पाठ्यक्रम विकसित करने के लिए कार्यक्रमों पर काम करने के लिए खुद को अपडेट रख रहे हैं, ताकि छात्र उच्च पेशेवर मानकों के लिए तैयार हो सकें। हमारा मानना है कि प्रत्येक छात्र में अपेक्षित क्षमता होती है और हमारा उद्देश्य यह देखना है कि यह क्षमता पूरी तरह से साकार हो और पूरी हो। शिक्षा के प्रति इस तरह के प्रतिबद्ध, शिक्षार्थी-केंद्रित दृष्टिकोण का मतलब है कि हमारे पास एक खुशहाल और उद्देश्यपूर्ण समुदाय है जो सभी शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों में उत्कृष्टता के लिए प्रयास करता है।
इस दृष्टिकोण को ध्यान में रखते हुए, स्थानीय अदालतों में छात्रों को व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करना और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कानूनी सहायता शिविरों का आयोजन पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल किया गया है। संकाय मूट कोर्ट प्रतियोगिताओं, प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता, विस्तार व्याख्यान, सेमिनार और अध्ययन दौरों आदि पर भी जोर देता है। इसके अलावा, संकाय के शिक्षक प्रतिष्ठित पत्रिकाओं में शोध पत्र प्रकाशित करके और सेमिनारों में भाग लेकर अपने व्यक्तिगत विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लगातार लगे हुए हैं। और समय-समय पर विभिन्न उच्च ख्याति प्राप्त संस्थाओं द्वारा सम्मेलन आयोजित किये जाते हैं। हम राष्ट्रीय कानून विश्वविद्यालयों और अन्य प्रतिष्ठित विश्वविद्यालयों की तर्ज पर सिरसा और इसके पड़ोसी क्षेत्र के दूरदराज के क्षेत्र में कानूनी शिक्षा को बढ़ाने के लिए तत्पर हैं।
Right from its inception, the dynamic teachers of the Faculty are keeping themselves update to work out programmes in order to develop new course curricula for meeting the ever changing demands of the legal profession, so that the students are prepared for high professional standards. We believe that every student has the requisite potential and our aim is to see that this potential is fully realized and fulfilled. Such a committed, learner-centered approach to education means that we have a happy and purposeful community that strives for excellence in all academic activities. With this view in mind, the imparting of practical training to the students in the local courts and organizing of Legal Aid Camps in the rural areas has been incorporated in the syllabi. Faculty also stresses on moot court competitions, quiz competition, extension lectures, seminars and study tours etc. Apart from this, teachers of the Faculty are continuously engage themselves for promoting their personal growth by publishing research papers in the journals of repute and also attending seminars and conference organized from time to time by the different institutions of high repute. We look forward to enhance the legal education in the remote area of Sirsa and its neighboring region on pattern of National law Universities and other reputed Universities.
